A Toadally Awesome Night Run πŸΈ

I went for a night run this evening during my son’s baseball game… And it was fabulous! This was my first time EVER to run at night and I LOVED it! 😍

Cool night air, full moon, noisy insects, and lots of hopping toads!

I tried to catch one, but they are tricky little fellows!

The amazing part is that I was so distracted by the toads sitting in my path and jumping in the grass that I actually enjoyed the run and ran most of the 2 miles!!! This is a new record for me!

After my run- I took Simone and Eli back down part of the path. We walked a mile and half and they caught and released several toads. 🐸

🐸 Eli declared he would like to be a toad-catcher when he grows up…

I told him he doesn’t need to wait to grow up to be one… He already is a toad-catcher LOL!!

And I foresee many more night runs during the fall-ball baseball season! βšΎοΈπŸ‘Ÿ

  1. Sounds like a great run indeed! Eli…he’s a character! πŸ™‚

I wish I could run. It would shave so much time off my outings! Unfortunately my left hurts like a heck after even a 1/4 mile run. I think one leg is shorter than other. So, I hike, but it takes a long time to hike five miles uphill. Running would be faster!
