Our 1st Youth Fishing Experience 🎣

We woke up early this morning and headed out to some local fishing ponds! Our city was hosting a youth fishing experience.  

 
We were super lucky to have an experienced fisherman helping us out… We learned a lot, had fun, and even got a trophy!

  

All the kids caught a fish!

  

Simone’s fish won for being the biggest fish caught by a girl!

  

Eli caught the second biggest fish… He caught a Catfish that was 2 ounces less than a Bass a boy caught.

  

   
He was disappointed that he didn’t get a trophy… Until he got a prize… A new fishing rod (this one should be easier for him because it’s a closed reel).

 

Andre was the first to catch a fish!

 

Edison  was an old pro at fishing- he did it all by himself… Including pulling out the hook!

  

We had so much fun… 🎣 It was a great fishing experience that got the kids excited and educated about fishing 😊
