Upcycled jeans sewn into fishing pole cases

The kids and I are going to learn how to fish this summer. ๐ŸŽฃ

We will be taking 5 different classes as well as practice at our local park!

We have attempted to fish before…

ย BUT
…we hardly ever caught anything and our poles kept breaking apart and getting tangled together ๐Ÿ˜ต

So- yesterday we bought new poles – upgrading them to a better quality!ย

In order to protect the poles, I made covers for them out of jeans!

ย

I basically cut the legs off ofย the jeans, sewed them together, added cute fabricย at the bottomย for the reel… And presto- I was done!

* my husband things they look ridiculous because they are so big LOL and the kids think they look like gun cases ๐Ÿ˜‚ I think they are perfect… No more tangled poles or fishing hooks swinging!

ย Everyone has a pole, with an extra for family and friends… Like my nephew ๐Ÿ’œ

Using jeans mean the fishing pole covers are durable… and machine washable ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽฃ

  1. I think that is a clever idea. (They do look a bit like gun cases though.)
