Braided Fairy Crowns
- Find a plant with long leaves. We used leaves from Day Lillies.
- Take your three leaves and braid them together
- This is a great way to learn how to braid!
- Create a circle and connect the ends
- You could use string or small hair rubber bands
- Put it in your hair with flowers… We had beautiful peonies blooming so that’s what Simone and I used
The boys turned their braided leaves into karate-kid bandanas!
aw so sweet, we used to do this.. I really need to take a break and just ” be” with my kiddos .. fun and simple things, sounds wonderful !

I never did this as a kid. Looks like a lot of fun. I figured the boys wouldn’t go all flowery – liked that theirs were karate kid bandanas. 🙂

The boys are totally into karate kid! When this lice business is over, we will celebrate by buying everyone a bandana! (I’ll just keep putting flowers in my hair LOL)
